this piece took me forever and a half! >_<
i wanted to try a new approach to painting in.. well.. painter XD. so i found a photo reference and played around. this was originally going to be like a fashion pic (since i seem to have a random and unpredictable occassional NEED to draw clothing), but i got addicted to painting fleshtone! i love fleshtone! the other thing is it was done almost 100% digitally! i sketched the reference, then overlayed it on the image and fixed what was wrong, then digitally inked it with my own further corrections to make it Taevi instead of the photo subject. the style of painting was DIRECTLY inspired by the works of the awe-inspiringly talented  i still did it my own way, but i love her quality of realism.  photo reference ©  Taevius © Veiled-Studios EDIT: full view with full details is available by clicking the download button.  |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
